Many blue things happening last weekend.
Winter is finally making it’s way over to Sydney, and I am beyond excited. Mainly because of the winter clothing stockpile I’ve been working on for the last few months as a result of my recent trips to much colder climates (travel journals here and here). Bring on the discounted winter goodies I managed to smuggle back home in my well over-stuffed suitcase! Thick coats, beanies, earmuffs, oversized scarfs, pastel leather – it is all going to be happening once the Sydney temperature drops another 5 degrees or so.
However, until that happens, I’ve been having quite a bit of fun traveling to colder climates around Australia. Our trip to Tasmania last month was definitely bone-chilling at times, and a recent day trip to the blue mountains let me whip out one of my favourite jacket purchases to-date. I’m a sucker for anything in pale blue, and love how this jacket has all the toughness of a ‘biker jacket’ (zips etc.), but is made softer with a pastel shade.
