I’M FINALLY FREE!
From exams and Semester 1 of 2015, that is.
Which was by far one of my most challenging and full-on semesters yet. Not just in regard to university workload, but also due to a few new jobs I picked up along the way as a photographer and paralegal, both equally exciting and demanding in their own right. As anyone who has previously been a student (of any kind) will know, priorities have a habit of re-organising themselves during the examination period and weeks leading up to it. The time I usually devote to the blog quickly shimmied away from me into the distant background, obscured behind looming weekly readings which remained un-read and recorded lectures demanding a re-listen. Hence this very overdue post, taken on our way down to Berrima in May (May!), when we stumbled upon a vintage Holden car show.
I’ve been hanging out for a good backpack ever since returning home from my travels in May last year. Something to fit university textbooks, a change of (gym) clothes, a camera and just about my entire life in on an everyday basis. Unfortunately, this backpack doesn’t really solve any of those needs – but it’s in a perfect pale blue (a colour I can never go past) and at least fits a few items, so I quickly nabbed it up when I saw it in Zara for $69. I’m still hanging out for the magical backpack that will actually hold everything including the kitchen sink whilst still looking fabulous, but this is a pretty good alternative in the mean time.
