Just a small public service announcement: Country Road's denim collection is super on point this season. I just picked up two pairs of their skinny jeans, one in dark indigo and the other in a lighter 'vintage' wash, and I am damn excited to be able to wear them when it starts cooling down. Both pairs essentially serve as replacement versions for my previous Nana Judy and Rag & Bone jeans purchased in 2013 (the original post can be found here) that are starting to look a bit worse for wear. The elastane in my Nana Judy pair is breaking and causing the material to pucker, and my the Rag & Bones are starting to loose their shape and tight fit.
I was so easily convinced about the Country Road pairs above because they're made in a lovely thick, soft denim and the material content (99% cotton, 1% elastane) means they'll hopefully last a few years longer than my previous Nana Judy pair. Both are a mid-rise fit and technically cropped - although on my 5"5 frame they're the perfect full length. I did have to go down a few sizes though, so if you're also planning on grabbing yourself some of their jeans I would keep that in mind.
P.S. Country Road have 'spend & save' promotions quite regularly (which is when I purchased my pairs) which are worth keeping an eye out for if you're doing a denim re-stock too!
