Summer days call for not quite conventional boots, with a little bit more airflow than usual. I admit, they're a somewhat strange mix of styles - snakeskin, cut outs and a pointed toe reminiscent of cowboy boots seems like a recipe for disaster, rather than a sensible fashion choice. However, somehow it works. I'm enjoying the slightly guilty feeling of venturing back into western style boots, which seemed forever banished to the 'bad decisions' pile of the early 2000s. I think these pair are a little more along the lines of 'western minimalism', than Jessica Simpson in 'These Boots Are Made For Walking'. So, I'm considering my recent return to western styling chic rather than tragic, hopefully at least!
